Time to fire it up and get the ball rolling on this new hobby of mine – mindless rants about whatever.
Lately, I’ve been playing Team Fortress 2 a hell of a lot. I’ve been playing it on PC for about 6 months now and every time I get back into it, I have to admire how awesome of a game Valve made. There is almost nothing about it that I dislike, from the art style to the map design to the class balance. This is the kind of game that I’ll be playing in 6 years and it will be just as fun as it is today. Pyro was my first love in this game, but I’ve since moved on to heavy, soldier, demoman and now I’m on spy.
Spy is a fun class to play once you get used to slipping through enemies unnoticed. There is no feeling quite like backstabbing a heavy/medic combo that is preventing your team from making a big push, or sapping a sentry that is stopping your offensive from advancing. I’m a shape shifting rat, but I’m just fine with that.
A few buddies and I are doing a weekly Team Fortress 2 podcast called Jarate Sandvich, available over at http://winehousefactory.com. We’ve got ourselves a dedicated server, a podcast, and four very, very passionate Team Fortress 2 players. It is a damned blast.
